What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Vice President position at Anaplan?
We are looking for a Regional Vice President. Our sales team is sharing our bold vision with companies around the world helping them understand the power of Anaplan products. We partner with some of the world’s biggest brands, such as GE, PwC, and VMware, to unlock their full potential for success and to grow our business.
As an RVP, you will lead Account Executives in their geographic territory, expand Anaplan’s footprint with existing Fortune 100 customers and build new relationships with prospects and C-level leadership. Your background and experience consist of leading strategic, enterprise sales with a consistent record closing as well as growing revenue while supporting/mentoring direct reports. You are considered an expert in positioning business value within the enterprise selling software solutions, managing sophisticated sales cycles, and building relationships with key stakeholders in Fortune 100.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of enterprise software sales leadership experience selling solutions at the C-level
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
- Experience leading a software company into new territory while meeting/exceeding team quotas within a sophisticated sales environment
- Experience in territory management and planning, at the regional and account levels
- Proven expertise in instructing, mentoring, and training sales methodologies
- Balancing closing of current-quarter deals while nurturing longer-term opportunities
- Coordinating and leading weekly and monthly one-on-one and team pipeline reviews, meetings, and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best-practice sharing.
- Running daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above quota results based on successful pipeline management
- Display a detailed understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
