The Student Coordinator works with Residential Manager to develop, coordinate and deliver the dorm curriculum. This position will work collaboratively with the Residential Manager and nighttime dorm supervisor, lead students, housekeeping, maintenance, cleaning to support the Residential Life program.
Key Responsibilities:
The student coordinator works with the residential manager to promote a safe, engaging and inclusive residential community. This position is also a visible presence in the dorm and involve student activities, student meeting and basic academic help such as reading & writing.
● Help develop, coordinate, and deliver dorm programming and curriculum.
● Assist the residential manager with supporting the lead night time supervisor and the dorm student leaders.
● Assist the residential manager with dorm selection, rooming assignments, roommate changes, and selection and training of dorm leaders.
● Assist the residential manager of Student Life with the opening and closing of the dorms at the start and end of the year and at breaks.
● Coordinate, order, and pick up all supplies related to dorms, dorm parties, special dorm events, and weekend activities
● Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and campus security related to the needs of the dorms.
● Support driving as needed for Student Life and the Health Center.
● The Coordinator may be asked to sponsor one or more school clubs. This position will also work directly with the residential manager and director of the international student program at school to help align the freshman curriculum and new student program with residential life.
● Greet and assist visitors
● Handling of office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, monthly shift schedule, monthly activity plan for the dorm students and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies
● Screen phone calls and route callers to the appropriate party
● Update and create various flyers and forms
● Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
● For other job duties related to AnB Education, your supervisor can give other jobs when needed.
● Communicate with students’ agencies and parents in their countries
● Conduct initial orientation with new students each academic year
● Assist students in defining personal and academic career goals
● Advise and counsel students for Fall and Spring semester course selections

Qualifications:
● A bachelor’s degree.
● Experience working at a boarding school, a college residential life office or summer camp is required.
● Diversity and Inclusion training and experience working within a global community preferred.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and work under deadlines.
● Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with multiple constituencies and work well with parents, students and school.

● Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
