Job Title: Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) Med SurgJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and assist in the management of medical-surgical conditions.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans2. Administering medications and treatments3. Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and progress4. Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care5. Educating patients and families on health management and treatment plans6. Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation7. Adhering to safety and quality standards in patient care8. Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient rounds9. Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and families10. Responding to emergencies and providing appropriate interventions11. Participating in ongoing education and training opportunities12. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment13. Adhering to hospital policies and procedures14. Demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions with patients and colleagues15. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practiceQualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice2. BLS certification3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing4. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred5. Strong clinical and critical thinking skills6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment8. Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends9. Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively10. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems11.
