Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Perm RN Wound Care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with acute and chronic wounds in a compassionate and efficient manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting thorough wound assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Administering wound care treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Providing education to patients and their families on proper wound care techniques
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of wound healing
- Participating in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Certification in wound care management preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
