| Job Summary: | |||
| Sample and perform laboratory and field testing on concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregate, block and cement to ensure compliance with ASTM/ ACI specifications and standards in a fast-paced quality control laboratory. This position requires the ability to represent Anchorage Sand & Gravel to customers and third-party agencies. Prepare reports as directed for internal distribution and/ or specific agencies. | |||
| Minimum Qualifications: | |||
|
*Must have good math, record keeping, problem solving and computer skills. *Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor. *Willing to work 6 days a week, long hours and early start times while maintaining a positive attitude. *High School Diploma. *Valid Alaska Driver's License. *Basic understanding of computers and excel spreadsheets. *ACI, NICET, NCMA and WAQTC certification is preferred. *Prior experience testing materials in the lab and field is valuable; however, training and certification opportunities will be provided. *Professional and courteous attitude towards team members as well as customers and third-party agencies. |
