Electromechanical Technician

In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, performing critical maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our plant and machinery. This is a highly skilled role that requires a strong mix of maintenance and electrical experience. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment used in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools
• Test electro-mechanical assemblies using testing instruments
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair AC motors, PLC's and electrical controls
• Operate various machinery and equipment including air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, chilled water, and equipment
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and squatting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Strong knowledge of LOTO procedures
• Ability to wire weld, operate plasma cutter, and use oxyacetylene torch
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel

Compensation

The pay for this full-time position ranges from $26.00 - $30.00 per hour. The working hours are Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm with no overtime.
