Aegis Home Health is currently seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist that has a passion for providing outstanding services to the elderly in Senior Living Communities and in-home health settings. This is a Full Time position. The main office is located in Wasilla, AK

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to state and federal regulations and professional guidelines
• Perform complete evaluations of the patients' functional capacity, muscle strength, motor development, respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and endurance
• Routinely assess and revise therapy care plan to ensure best patient outcome
• Provide education and instruction to patients and family members regarding therapeutic exercises to facilitate self-care within the limits of patient's abilities
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with peers to ensure patient needs are met
• Accurate and timely documentation of observations and evaluations

Skills & Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of practice
• Home Health experience preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable automobile
• Proof of current automobile insurance
• Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test

*SIGN ON BONUS: To be paid out on three installments (first paycheck, 90 days and six months with a 2 year commitment).

Salary : $52 - $55
