Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for purchasing parts, vendor invoice approvals, customer invoicing, miscellaneous filing and inventory control
  • Interacts with Customers and Technicians in order to provide technical support regarding parts
  • Compares stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders
  • This individual will coordinate transactions related to aftermarket and used parts for internal support
  • May conduct some sales of parts over the phone and emphasize salable features; quote prices and credit terms and prepare parts orders

Requirements

  • Prior experience in material handling industry
  • Must be able to communicate in person and via phone in a professional manner
  • Strong data entry skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to create spreadsheets
  • Mechanical aptitude a plus
