POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose
The Enterprise Technology and Innovation manager is focused on leading multiple enterprise technology competency areas that are integral to Andersen’s current and future product and services strategy. The purpose of this role is to use customer insights to drive technology innovation and application to ensure Andersen current and new products and services are different and better, distinctive, and are based on a resilient supply chain that optimizes overall cost.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides technical leadership for the Enterprise across multiple technology competency areas.
- Drives innovation, technology development, and technology support projects based on customer insight, technology trends, and business direction.
- Provides leadership for additional centralized functions of RDI including testing services, engineering services, and broader technology scouting.
- Establishes the RD & I portfolio of projects to support the above strategy ensuring the right balance between innovation, new products, line extensions, cost savings, and quality.
- Accountable for technical integrity of and building confidence when implementing these solutions within all divisions.
- Establishes with legal our intellectual property strategy on new technology developments.
- Advances our engineering services (e.g., testing, certification programs) to assure state of the art performance in our new products and compliance to certification programs.
- Ensures ongoing external awareness of technology, competitors, and emerging & disruptive technologies & opportunities.
- Provides regular status reports to senior business leaders, cross functional partners, and other potential customers/clients.
- Uses customer insights throughout the development process to ensure projects deliver a world-class customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-related field
- 10 years technical management experience
- Proven experience and success in developing and implementing technology change
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years leading early-stage technology development initiatives focused on new materials, processes, or equipment & tools
- Experience in managing multiple innovation projects and broader portfolios
- Strong aptitude in material development, process development, manufacturing scale-up, and/or equipment design & procurement
- Strong understanding of relevant methodologies and tools (e.g., DFSS, Design Thinking, DMAIC, development Stage Gates, PMBOK, Lean)
- Strong knowledge of R&D, manufacturing, business, and quality systems
- Experience working with internal and external business and development partners
- Experience working with larger corporations as well as smaller startups

Profit Sharing
During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.

Pay: $124,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
