For assistance on how to apply, please click here Job Description: Position Overview This position is responsible for performing general fabrication tasks including operating fabrication machinery to perform sheet metal layout and welding work. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints Operate machinery in the layout and assembly of fabrication jobs Perform skilled welding operations and routine preventative maintenance of equipment Perform housekeeping activities as needed What is expected of you and others at this level Intermediate skills in own work area within an analytical/scientific method or operational process Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operation procedures and/or scientific methods Works with a moderate degree of supervision Minimum Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred 1-3 years’ relevant experience required (5 years preferred) Experience operating a brake press, burn table (laser) and bandsaw Machining operations a plus (mill/lathe) Aluminum welding experience a plus This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
