What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Specialist/Switchboard position at Andrews Center?
High school degree or equivalent is required. Person must have at least 3 years clerical related experience including answering multi-line telephone system with considerable experience as a switchboard operator and receptionist.
Person must be computer proficient. Serves as switchboard operator for the Main Center and for other programs as needed and serves as receptionist for administration; presenting a positive communication image through telephone and face-to-face contact. Monitors and controls the activity of persons in designated waiting area in order to provide a businesslike atmosphere. Work involves training all employees on telephones and training switchboard back-up operators. Must have current Texas driver's license; meet insurance criteria, and ability to pass all applicable training.
