What are the responsibilities and job description for the AG Clean Attendant position at Andy Gump?
Job Summary:
Provide high quality maintenance of portable sanitation facilities at Andy Gump Special Event sites. Project a professional, courteous and conscientious attitude and neat appearance to the public, the event customer and fellow employees.
Examples of Essential Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Arrive at job site in proper uniform, at or before the appointed hour.
- Make contact with event coordinator/contact, introduce yourself, confirm what time event actually starts and ends and what time they want units locked up.
- Complete time card in Do Forms, obtain customer's name or signature for any additional hours requested to work and fill in on your Do Form. Complete your Do Form time card at the end of your shift.
- If you are working a large event and there is a Specialist or AG Tech on site be sure to check in with them upon arrival.
- Inspect all equipment for working condition and supplies. Ensure units/ trailers are open and in full operation for event start time. No Open Flames inside trailers.
During the event hours:
- Wear AG approved vinyl Gloves when using cleaning agents to disinfect portable restrooms. Gloves should be changed periodically with a new set to safeguard against cross contamination. If gloves are removed they must be discarded and replaced with a new set.
- AG approved safety glasses or shields must be worn when cleaning the inside of the restrooms and sink areas with disinfectants to prevent eyes from being sprayed.
- Monitor the lines- limit guest to the number of stalls in the restroom trailer by asking patrons to remain outside in a line that follows 6' social distance observed lines.
- If hand sanitizer tower is present offer each patron to use the sanitizer prior to entering the restroom.
- AG attendants will provide a constant rotation of cleaning with CDC approved Antibacterial Cleaners provided by Andy Gump.
- Spray and Wipe down all surfaces: sink, faucets, counter tops, mirrors, paper towel dispenser, hand soap containers, baby changing station, sanitary trash cans and door handles. Be especially careful not to cross contaminate Towels/Wipes with Sinks and Toilets. Utilize separate wipes for each surface (i.e. Toilets, Sinks, Push Plates and Door Handles).
- Spray and Wipe down surface of each toilet as well as clean the inside of each toilet.
- Keep unit walls Wiped down consistently.
- Straighten carpets and/or replace if necessary.
- Mop floors if there is a water spill.
- Replace all supply items: toilet tissue, seat pad containers, paper towels and soap.
- Pick up all papers on the floor.
- Empty trash cans, do not use your hands to remove trash from receptacle, replace the bags with new ones. This will help stop your hands from puncture of any items left in trash receptacles.
- Identify malfunctioning components, such as, clogged toilets, power outage, locking mechanism, etc. Report problems to Andy Gump technician or Specialist on site or use the Do Forms - quick issue and a Supervisor or SE Coordinator will contact you (no need to report problem to customer at this time). Enter any problems or suggestions you may have on the Do Form Time Card by using the SE Questionnaire or other comments field.
- Constantly inspect and maintain quality condition of all units at all times.
- Assist people using our units as needed, showing them how to operate the unit, directing traffic flow, etc.
- Use common sense to resolve problems you observe.
At the end of the event:
- Clean all units thoroughly with CDC approved Antibacterial Cleaners and replenish supplies so units are ready for use for the following day, if applicable. Remove all trash from trailer at end of the event, if trailer is not being used for second event, tie up trash bags and leave in stall to be removed back at facility.
- Check out with your contact via phone or via text (if cell #). If the event appears to not to be over contact customer to see if they need you stay longer
- On the Executive Suite trailers, trailer must not be left unattended and all power systems should be off and trailer locked. **Unless requested by customer**
Accountability:
Maintain Andy Gump equipment in good clean working order. Represent Andy Gump/AG Clean in a professional manner. Assist guests with flow of traffic as needed. Use Do Form Quick Issue Report to notify On Call Supervisor of equipment issues or AG Clean Specialist on site or AG Clean Supervisor if the On Call Supervisor has not responded with in 15 minutes of report.
Qualifications Guidelines
Experience: - No prior experience is required.
Education and/or Training: - On the job training is provided.
Knowledge: -Be familiar with all Andy Gump inventory and how the equipment works. Be familiar with cleaning products and their proper use.
