Work Hours and Frequency:
The Registered Nurse works a full-time schedule.
What you'll be doing as an RN:
- The Palliative Care Registered Nurse serves patients with life-limiting illnesses and applies appropriate interventions for the palliation of symptoms.
- Works as part of the Palliative Care team to provide educational information to patients.
- Documents visits in the patient’s clinical record on required forms and electronic medical record software.
- Communicates effectively with the Director of Palliative Care and the Palliative Care Team.
What we're looking for:
- Must hold a current, valid Registered Nurse state license.
- Knowledge of pain and symptom management interventions preferred.
- Possesses understanding of principles of Palliative Care.
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation insured in accordance with state requirements.
- Satisfactory references, pass criminal, motor vehicle background checks and drug screening per company policy.
