The IT Procurement Manager will report directly to the VP of IT and will be responsible for vendor sourcing and contract negotiations. You will participate in developing an efficient procurement process, establishing standards for vendor selection, strategizing ways to arrive at cost-effective agreements, and play an essential role in forecasting contract renewals. We’re looking for teammates who are systems-oriented, customer service-oriented, and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building a team responsible for purchasing goods and services for the Technology department and other groups as needed in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Quote and order new hardware/software and professional services
- Lead the RFP/competitive bidding process for large scale purchases and renewals
- Submit spend requests to senior leadership
- Manage and maintain the renewal calendar
- Maintain/develop strategic supplier/vendor relationships
- Communicate with stakeholders and business owners regarding any vendor-related challenges that could impact business operations
- Provide status updates and budgetary impact to stakeholders
- Identify and develop potential joint agreements between Angi and affiliated companies
- Manage the receiving process for procured hardware and materials
- Provide cost analysis on large scale purchases
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement solutions
- Identify and implement process improvements related to Angi’s procure to pay process
- Work with AP, Vendors, and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues
Requirements:
- 3 years management experience in a Sourcing/Procurement role
- 5 years of contract negotiation experience with a heavy focus on SaaS
- Expertise with Coupa and Netsuite
- Ability to communicate and present information clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize projects and requests at different phases to meet ambitions deadlines
- Experience with Excel
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinker
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-starter- the ability to tackle problems head-on with little direction
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting ambitious deadlines
Compensation & Benefits:
- The salary band for this position ranges from $110-160k, commensurate with experience and performance.
