Position Description:
Performs assigned patient care duties under the direction of a licensed provider. Responsible for performing clinical duties such as:
- Interacting with Patients on a daily basis
- Obtaining Patient's Medical History
- Obtaining Patient Vitals
- Performing X-rays
- Checking vitals
- Assisting with In Office Surgical Procedures
- Applying Post Op and Compression Dressings
- Wound Care
- Dispensing Durable Medical Equipment
- Collecting Specimens for Biopsy/Culture
- Castings
- Sanitizing Patient Rooms
- Restocking Patient Rooms
Requirements:
- Certified MA, RMA or LPN preferred
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
