What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accountant position at Anonymous?
We are collaborating with a top PE firm on a Fund Accountant position, reporting to the Fund Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and review financial statements (GAAP-compliant).
- Analyze performance metrics (NAV, IRR) and assist in internal reports.
- Investor Reporting:
- Provide comprehensive investor statements and support investor relations.
- Prepare materials for fund performance presentations.
- Third-Party Administrator Oversight:
- Monitor and validate third-party administrator’s work.
- Coordinate capital activity processing.
- Performance Measurement:
- Analyze KPIs and assist in performance reporting for stakeholders.
- Compliance & Audit Support:
- Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with audits.
- Implement new accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CFA preferred.
- 3 years in fund accounting (private equity/asset management preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and investment company accounting.
- Proficient in financial reporting systems and Excel; fund admin software experience a plus.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills; team player.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
