Position: Financial Analyst

Antech Systems seeks a Financial Analyst to join our team and assist in managing and maintaining resource spend plans across multiple contracts. Be able to populate executive-level presentations with budget and financial information. Have work experience tracking funding execution, including commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and expenditures for all contracts, and generate informative reports. Be able to develop spreadsheets and appropriate documentation to respond to directed financial data calls (e.g., taskers) and create spend plan worksheets or documents for analysis detailing commitments, obligations, and balances, correlating financing requirements into executable budgets.

Education & Experience:

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or a similar field.
1-3 years of experience working as a financial analyst or relevant educational experience is preferred.

Required Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Intermediate (or better) Excel skills.
Experience in budget formulation and execution.
Proficient in financial analysis and planning.
Analyze data from various sources, apply critical thinking and discover patterns.
Identify opportunities to create efficiencies through automation or enhancement of existing processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter able to work independently.
Applicant must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Nice to Have:

Advanced Excel Skills (creating/editing macros).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of Government contract execution.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server products.
Work experience performing data analysis or independent research experience.
