Responsible for the daily operations of assigned oil and gas wells to include all processing equipment and production facilities. Perform general well inspection to evaluate and maintain peak production performance for each individual wells on assigned route.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow all of the Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements, ensuring personal safety, safety of others, and safety of the surrounding area.
- With some assistance perform, evaluate, and complete activities associated with gas and condensate production from wells. Go to each wellsite to make observations, check to see what needs to be done, and make standard adjustments when necessary.
- Within limits of experience and skill, assist or actively participate in the installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of production facilities.
- Conduct regular well checks, monitor daily, and make general repairs and maintenance of field and well equipment, operation of Emission Control Devices (ECD), and gas metering skids. Accurately review flow meter readings, pressures, and production volumes for reports and report any issues to appropriate staff.
- Understand and apply sound safety processes and procedures on operation and maintenance of high pressure, high temperature, and high volume oil and gas flow regime. Follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure safety in the operation of facilities and pads.
- Complete daily monitoring and review of gas production and oil inventory on the SCADA system to ensure efficiency, and plan daily activity such as, work orders and regular checks, based on the information.
- Responsible for managing all fluids on assigned route. Ensure the accuracy of oil run tickets by pulling and reviewing tickets daily.
- Maintain and make minor to general repairs on production equipment to minimize well downtime, report all equipment issues that require additional help.
- Troubleshoot common problem wells, discuss improvements, and help implement approved solution in a safe manner.
- Help ensure all new wells are ready for production including tank batteries, corrosion protection, necessary personnel, rental equipment, etc. as directed by the supervisor.
- Make sure daily activities, site conditions, and regulatory requirements are followed and maintained according to Company policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Licensure
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
- One (1) or more years of related experience.
- Basic industry Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) training.
- Experience and licensure with operations and/or maintenance of some industry equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. and use/operation of standard office equipment.
- Ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance including but not limited to, shovels, wrenches, rakes, etc.
- Basic math skills with ability to calculate tank volumes and gas flow rates.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to be detail oriented, self-starter, and work independently with general supervision while maintaining goals and tasks.
- Able to follow objectives, instructions, and tasks that are set by the supervisor.
- Able to ask questions, observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.
- Ability to work professionally and respectfully with Land Owners, Operators, teams, and others.
- Foster teamwork, work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.

- Minimal travel may be required to other locations.
- Frequent travel to Company’s field operations and/or offices. Approximately 90%.
