Title: Business Information Developer Consultant
Location: Remote
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Builds and publishes Tableau reports, dashboards, and data sources
- Develops SQL Server tables, views, functions, and stored procedures.
- Develops complex SQL to generate internal reports and support automated SQL Server processes.
- Uses program languages to extract data.
- Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
- Establishes and maintains knowledge of data warehouse/database design, data definitions, and system capabilities.
- Meets with project stakeholders, gathers requirements, and defines technical deliverables.
- Develops and support self-service reporting capabilities for internal business partners.
- Conducts training on use of applications/reports developed.
Qualifications
- Requires a BS/BA degree; 4-5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Must have Tableau experience
- SQL Server or equivalent database/reporting platforms
- Preferred SSRS experience
- Preferred experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Redshift, or Azure
- PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
- The majority of time will be spent programming.
- Health Insurance or Pharmacy experience a strong plus.
- Experience with BI platforms a plus
- Experience gathering business requirements, data modeling, and data profiling.
