Preferred Locations: Indianapolis, IN. Will consider one of Anthem's other major pulse points for the most qualified candidate. Anthem supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection
The Director Payroll is responsible for all payroll processing, data entry to support payroll, tax administration, stock and executive compensation management, payroll reporting and payroll inquiries.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the company's global payroll strategy across the US, India, Philippines, and Israel.
- Responsible for the overall support of biweekly payroll processing to ensure successful bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Responsible for other system upgrades and management of changes to tools used to ensure team has the right technology and support as needed.
- Global process lead for payroll. Multi-year roadmap to design and implement payroll solutions across the US, India, Philippines, and Israel.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience and a minimum of 5 years in HR Administration specifically payroll, minimum of 2 years people leader or leadership experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:
- Workday Experience
- Payroll experience at large matrixed organization
