Reports to the Chief Health Equity Officer and partners in leading the development of new business plans/strategies/resources for both new and existing businesses.
How you will make an impact:
- Evaluates and provides guidance on new and potential strategic partnerships.
- Leads the analysis of current and projected product lines to determine optimal business strategy.
- Oversees research, analysis and the development of recommendations on the external environment as part of the development of strategic business plans.
- Supports in-flight integration of health equity lens principles and metrics in business planning across the enterprise.
- Develops and implements project plans and oversees project resources.
- Supports the development of and updates to a health equity-related inventory.
- Analyzes major competitor strategies.
- Identifies and monitors changing patterns of competition and recommends response.
- Acquires and maintains data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer and competitive conditions and trends pertaining to health insurance/managed care and related services.
- Consolidates data, analyses and recommendations into concise business plans.
- Partners in the development of health equity tools/resources to support business growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Ability to travel may be required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
