Food Production Operators perform all tasks and functions related to operating various pieces of production equipment; monitoring production processes and line operations; preparing and maintaining batch records and charts; sanitizing and cleaning equipment; performing inspections on products and preventative maintenance activities on equipment, operating material control equipment; loading and unloading materials; weighing up and staging ingredients for processing; and using a system designed to track productions and related information. Willing to teach a motivated person with less experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Food safety background in a production environment is preferred.
  • Must be mechanically inclined to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Confectionery production experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to safely work well under pressure.
  • Works well independently and with a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to follow all manufacturing compliance specifications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to tolerate physical labor and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
  • Must be able to safely perform all duties as assigned.

Experience: 1 year preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
