The Role
AnyRoad is looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Finance team and play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence.
The Senior Accountant must possess strong accounting and operational expertise, an ability to communicate and work with cross-functional teams, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a technology company.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will assist in nearly all day-to-day areas of the company’s accounting and will be responsible for most monthly and quarterly close tasks. This role is a hybrid position, which will come into our office twice a week on Mondays/Wednesdays.
\n- Post bank transactions and handle bank reconciliations
- Prepare various journal entries to the general ledger for cash, revenue, prepaids, fixed assets, and accruals
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Process employee expense reimbursements using Expensify
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and controls
- Recommend process improvements and enhancements
- Assist the Corporate Controller with monthly and quarterly close cycles for timely financial results
- Provide support to the Finance team on ad hoc projects as needed
- Someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dig into large data sets
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably at a SaaS company
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Stripe, SQL and/or Intacct a huge plus
