Job Title: Personal Trainer
Reports To: Club Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for meeting, greeting, and assisting members on a daily basis, conducting orientation sessions with members, personal-trains clients, performing facility and equipment cleaning and maintenance; and spotting weight lifters by performing the following duties. Responsible for training clients and helping them progress towards their fitness goals, delivering Team Training workouts to groups of 2-12 clients, and picking up, organizing, and cleaning facility and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists with questions from members, non-members on the workout floor.*- Tracks attendance, participation, and performance data related to personal and team training sessions.*
- Follows up with clients on a regular basis.*
- Schedules progress check ins/weigh ins with clients on regular basis.*
- Demonstrates proper operation of fitness equipment, such as resistance machines, cardio machines, free weights, or fitness assessment devices.*
- Teaches fitness training sessions to improve strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, or general fitness of participants.*
- Provides individual support or counseling in general wellness or nutrition.*

Language Ability:

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Google.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
