Aon is looking for an Intelligence Analyst
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk within our Intelligence & Investigations division, preferralbly in Washington DC or New York, NY (post pandemic) open to other locations (dependent on years of experience). As an Intelligence Analyst, you will report directly to the Senior Director, Intelligence & Investigations.
Work with a smaller, collaborative, global team (20) with a family feel with a strong support system. We are expanding our team, so there is a lot of growth potential/promotion potential. Opportunity for training in other areas as well as language training and continuous learning.

Your impact as an Intelligence Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts detailed research from multiple sources and triages significant amounts of data to identify pertinent information
- Analyzes information to draw sound conclusions and clearly convey analysis in writing and visually. Conducts relationship and timeline analysis if needed.
- Identifies and evaluates intelligence feeds to extract needed information and recommend modification or new feeds as necessary.
- Devises original solutions to novel research problems by creative application.
- Supports in overall investigative services, including participating in investigations, providing insight and additional collection opportunities to investigators.
- Generates verbal briefings, raw intelligence reports and finished intelligence products utilizing accepted analytical tradecraft and methodologies.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years research experience.
- Strong writing and research skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple research projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
- Proficient in exploiting databases, such as TLO, CLEAR, Accurint (or others) and analyzing and conveying findings.
- Proficient in use of methods, sources, and tools employed in all-source intelligence collection and analysis, including social network analysis.
- Ability to analyze, summarize and communicate vast amounts of information in a clear and succinct manner
- Knowledge of open source and proprietary databases and intelligence gathering techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Accurate and detail-oriented record keeping skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Advanced ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate technical details in a clear, comprehensible manner to team members and management.
- Ability to work across teams and functional capabilities toward a common goal.
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced search engine skills and understanding of Boolean operators.
- Additional language skills other than English.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
