This HR Specialist supports the Ellenwood, GA Warehouse facility in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong customer service focused oral and written communication skills over the phone, internet and in-person
2. Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and the ability to analyze information quickly
3. Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills to contribute and shape a positive dynamic culture in the department and company.
5. Ability to relate and communicate well with all levels of employees
6. Excellent organizational skills
7. Strong Excel Skills
8. Bi-lingual in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Associates Degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and training.
2. HR Certification of PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in above Essential Duties is preferred
4. 2-year HRIS experience is preferred
5. Proficient with computers and internet
a. Intermediate or higher experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
b. HRIS and ATS system experience
c. PDF form creation is a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports the Warehouse Manager & Human Resources Manager in collaboration with the US management team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and annual company goals through strategic vision, inspiration, and proper communication.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Manager and HR Department to ensure inspiring work environment and low turn over.
- Drive the recruiting efforts by maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), collaborate with HR Manager to create open positions postings, post positions on the ATS, conduct phone screens, conduct pre-employment screenings, communicate recommendations to the HR Manager
- Enter new hire information into the HRIS/payroll system, prepare new hire information, maintain orientation material, recommend improvements, participates in orientation.
- Collaborate on the HR infrastructure to ensure compliance of Federal, State and local regulations.
- On-going maintenance of the Employee Files, both electronic and hardcopy in compliance with company, federal and state regulations.
- Support compliance projects such as FMLA, Military Leave, ADA and tracking as needed.
- Consistent attendance in compliance of the Aosom Attendance Policy and for the expected performance level of the above duties.
