Deskside support technician

Apex Systems is assisting one of their reputable logistics clients' in filling their Deskside Support Technician position.

This is a contract to hire and the contract will be 6 months with conversion contingent on performance.

Must sit onsite in West Jefferson, Ohio and be able to work directly on Apex's W2 without sponsorship

Schedule : M-Friday; fully onsite

Pay rate : $25 / hr W2

Requirements :

  • 2 years of Desktop / Helpdesk Support in warehouse / manufacturing environment
  • Experience with installing, troubleshooting and supporting corporate AV equipment, as well as building, deploying and troubleshooting desktop computers in a corporate environment

Nice to Haves : Active Directory, ServiceNow, worked with RF Devices in warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 escalated technical issues
  • Maintain and manage workload through computerized ITSM ticketing and tracking system (ServiceNow)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues on laptops, PCs, thin clients and mobile devices
  • Use SCCM, PowerShell, Active Directory and other diagnostic and remediation utilities to identify, diagnose and correct issues
  • Support, troubleshoot and train end users on Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365 email and Outlook
