Title: Test Engineer
Location: Onsite full time in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Contract Length: 18 months (potential for fulltime role after)
Hours: Typical hours Mon-Fri or flexibility in schedule (such as 4 days at 10 hours, etc.)
Pay: $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr (Based on years of experience)
MUST HAVES:
- Candidates must either already have an active DoD Clearance or be a US Citizen with a clean background to obtain clearance (Only US Citizens are eligible for this type of clearance)
- Experience working with MIL-STD (United States Military Standard)
- Experience supporting of Department of Defense acquisition projects
The MC2S Program Office team provides a full range of modernization and sustainment acquisition support. The MC2S team performs technical studies, designs solutions for modernization projects, manages platform configurations, coordinates programmed depot maintenance and unprogrammed depot-level repairs, supports cybersecurity requirements, and manages the testing of the products. This position requires up to 25% travel in the continental United States for various projects. The candidate should be experienced performing the following tasks.

- Test Engineer in support of Department of Defense acquisition projects.
- Familiar with DoD specifications, MIL-STDs, and design verification processes.
- Analyzes system verification challenges and identifies the best solution to meet project needs.
- Works on multi-discipline teams.
- Prepares test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Prepares and presents briefings for design and test readiness reviews.
- Supports/accomplishes test activities in support of command and control systems.
- Supports failure analysis and corrective action implementation.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- BS in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent experience, (1-5 years of demonstrated DoD test engineering experience).
- Familiar with DOD Cyber Security policies and procedures
- Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle phases
- Work in a team environment. Has soft skills such as: problem solving, communication, adaptability, critical thinking, time management and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications.
- Must have a Secret clearance to start (If you do not have an active clearance then you must be USC able to obtain this clearance)
