API Integration Tester

Title: API Integration Tester

Location: Lansing , MI

• Min 2-4 Yrs. Hands-on experience in testing complex SOA based integration solutions using IBM Enterprise Service Bus, APP Connect, API Connect, MQ and DataPower
• Familiar with the REST API concepts.
• Deep knowledge of Service-oriented architecture design, Webservices, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT, XSD, ESQL, Java, JEE
• Knowledge of DataPower, Webservices Security, SSL, TLS, O-Auth, Digital certificates, Encryption, and Digital Signatures
• Hands-on experience in Oracle database, DML, DDL, and complex SQL
• Experience with ALM tools.
• Deep experience in Full Software Development Lifecycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in developing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios using Azure Dev Ops or equivalent.
• Hands-on Webservices Testing using SOAP UI, and knowledge or experience in Rational Performance Tester
• Ability to work with senior client stakeholders, cross-vendor teams, and senior project managers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• API Integration, ESB knowledge, Performance Testing, Automation (preferred Ready API)
• Analyze requirements and Design to Create Test Plan, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases document.
• Perform Application Integration Testing, System Testing and Performance Testing
• Work closely with various leads to ensure all functionality is properly implemented and tested with 100% coverage.
• Follow the established Defect Management process and ensure all defects are addressed promptly
• Work with project manager, Testing lead, Development lead, and clients to escalate and manage issues, risks.
• In addition to Major Release activities also support Production Maintenance and Operations Activities as needed
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide analysis of the problem.
• Work across team members including third-party vendors, external agencies, business, and technology stakeholders.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and Conduct User Acceptance Testing Demo
• Provide monitoring and ad-hoc reporting services as needed by clients and other teams
