Supportive Concepts for Families (SCFF) is dedicated to supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to live a meaningful day defined in the most independent and fulfilling manner possible. SCFF is currently seeking:
Full-Time and Part-Time Employment Specialists in Berks County, Reading, PA area.
- Sign-on Bonus: $1,000.00 for full time or $500 for part-time employment.
- Pay rate starting at $15 per hour with opportunities up to $19 per hour depending on experience and the needs of the person served.
- Unlimited Referral Bonus – up to $1000 per person referred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid PA Driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and physical
Employment Specialist RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and job tasks to ensure skill retention.
- Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and job sites.
- Assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining community employment opportunities
- Assist individuals with job tasks to ensure skill retention (at the Job Site)
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily/employment activities using an online system.
- Effectively communicate with other team members and/or family members.
