Nestled in Reading, PA, Hawthorne Home is a personal care facility committed to providing a structured and supportive menu of services to allow every resident to remain as independent as possible while having access to help when they need it.

Responsibilities:
- Setting tables appropriately.
- Serving food to residents.
- Informing residents of menu choices.
- Delivering meals in a timely manner.
- Clearing and washing tables.
- Performing various tasks as assigned by the kitchen supervisor.
- Following ServSafe, Guidelines to prevent time/temperature contamination.
- Must be able to work needed shifts; Available on short notice to help cover shifts or assist kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- No experience necessary; prefer at least 6 months of experience working in institutional food preparation.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written.
- Ability to deal with emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Understanding standards related to food, service, and cleanliness.
- Ability to work irregular hours and demonstrate flexibility.
