What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager / Site Supervisor position at APM Construction Management?
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager / Site Supervisor for new single family construction project(s).
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations at our site, including scheduling, safety protocols, personnel management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a proven track record of successful project management, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications:
About 5 years plus of related residential experience.
Must have own transportation vehicle, valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Valid OSHA and First Aid certification.
Time management, accountability, organized, and prioritization skills
Based on project schedule, may include some evenings and/or Saturdays.
May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed.
Adheres to PPEs policies: protective safety equipment, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and high visible vest when working on-site
Additional Responsibilities
Coordinate construction inspections with City officials, inspectors and subcontractors.
Read and understand construction plans, permit conditions and instructions.
Ensure job is coordinated from start to finish to maximize efficiency.
Provide a daily written report of daily activities
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite, including surrounding areas.
Maintain a good relationship with site neighbors and all parties at all times.
