Overview:
Apparalel is seeking an organized and responsible Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing wholesale client accounts, entering orders, collecting payments, and driving business growth through effective communication skills.
WAREHOUSE / SHIPMENTS
· Anticipate new wholesale shipments and ensure all items are entered into system before shipments arrive so they are ready to ship out to customers when they arrive.
· Manage warehouse staff to ensure shipment counts are checked against packing lists, and notify department heads of any quantity errors.
· Receive wholesale shipments promptly when they arrive at the warehouse, after correct quantities are confirmed
· Ensure that wholesale shipments are unpacked onto shelves by warehouse staff within 1-2 days of shipment arrival
· Maintain warehouse organization and inventory to ensure that items are fully stocked as per product demand and notify department head if any items are low in stock to discuss a reorder.
**NOTE: warehouse work is NOT required for this position. The position only requires management of warehouse staff and maintaining organization of the workflow.
WHOLESALE / CUSTOMER SERVICE
· Communicate daily with wholesale customers to take their orders
· Oversee wholesale orders to make sure they are shipped to customers in a timely fashion.
· Ensure that wholesale orders sent in before 1 PM are shipped the same day
· Meet regularly with customers via phone, virtual meeting, or in person, to discuss their needs and ensure they are being met
· Provide excellent customer service to wholesale clients, establish strong customer relationships, and keep communication open and flowing
· Communicate with customers regularly to discuss if any improvements are needed for order organization and fulfillment efficiency
· Reach out to customers regularly to check for reorder requests to maintain wholesale sales growth
SALES GROWTH
· Research and identify new account opportunities for the business
· Analyze performances of each customer and target ways to increase orders and sales numbers
· Produce reports and present them to department heads to analyze growth
· Increase annual sales by growing customer base and order size and frequency
TRADE SHOWS / POP UPS
· Attending trade shows and pop-ups up to 4 times per year with the goal of increasing sales each season.
· Organizing all details for trade shows, including line sheets and order sheet creation to include item details and prices
· Familiarizing oneself with product details and prices to present them properly to existing and potential new customers.
· Participating in showing goods, writing orders for clients, and opening new accounts.
MARKETING
· Manage marketing budget and activities for company
· Oversee marketing strategies and campaigns to ensure adequate marketing measures are taken
· Ensure campaigns are sent regularly to keep company known and relevant, including text messages, emails, and print advertising campaigns
· Schedule and manage photo shoots as needed per season
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
- Must have basic computer skills, be able to set up their own computer, printer, etc if needed
- Proficient in Shopify (will train)
- Proficient in Apparel Magic (AM) (will train)
- Proficient in Quickbooks
OTHER SKILLS
· Fast Learner
· Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
· Excellent computer skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
