ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATEAPPARATUS is a New York-based designer and manufacturer of a distinctive catalog of high-end, high-touch lighting, furniture and objects.
We produce both in-house and with the support of high-quality external partners; our catalog is sold globally.This role is responsible for hand-assembling and wiring fixtures in our New York production facility with a high level of skill and within production timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIESPerform production duties, including : precision wiring and assembly according to work instructions, operational and functional testing, and prepare products, as needed.
Produce consistent and high-quality work, on-time and according to department standards.Learn new products and techniques.
Meet the output and quality goals. Communicate with department leadership.Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace;
contribute to overall department organization.Comply with all Company policies. Support company initiatives and projects on an as-needed basis.
SKILLSIntermediate-level assembly, wiring and electrical testing skills.Trained in electrical safety protocols, quality control inspection, and care and handling standards.
Able to accurately read and follow work instructions.Able to quickly learn and retain knowledge through instruction and hands-on practice.
Highly skilled manual dexterity, use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment.Able to perceive color and texture.Solid problem-solving skills.
