Job Description

Light Assembler II assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler II identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Uses hand tools and small power tools. Additionally, Light Assembler II requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Light Assembler II gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
