How you’ll make an impact:
We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive role with a proven track record in enterprise software sales & services to help drive continued growth and success for the company.
You will partner with Sales Development Representatives and Sales Engineering in your region to identify prospects, build meaningful customer relationships and drive momentum across multiple opportunities by guiding prospective clients on their digital transformation journey.
Additionally you will align with the Services and Delivery Teams to ensure successful deployments and expanding plans in your assigned base of customers.
The ideal candidate will require a good understanding of cloud software and platforms, business acumen and a consultative sales approach, to deliver compelling solutions that help customers achieve their business goals and derive value from the AppDirect platform.
What you’ll do:
- You will be responsible for driving the growth of the AppDirect platform across your region.
- Complete AppDirect’s in-depth onboarding and sales training to become an expert in our messaging, products and services and unique sales approach
- You will work independently to identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities, delivering an unparalleled level of service to potential partners. Your focus will be to help AppDirect achieve its goal of revolutionizing the software industry.
- Execute vertical/territory plan and a pipeline that will fuel the ongoing growth of your business enabling you to exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota
- Identify and qualify new opportunities leveraging your own creativity, inbound lead flow, personal prospecting efforts, contacts, existing accounts and partners
- Engage, qualify and close new platform opportunities within your region across a range of verticals including Communication Service Providers, Manufacturing, IT Players (VARs, MSPs and Distributors), System Integrators, Software Developers and Financial Services.
- Cross-functionally coordinate internal resources needed to close new business
- Represent AppDirect in all customer facing engagements, traveling to customers locations as required and engaging at all levels of an organization.
- Present and advise customers and prospects on established digital transformation best practices.
What you’ll need:
- 10 years experience as an Account Executive for an enterprise solution in a complex sales cycle, with desired focus in one or more of the Verticals noted above.
- Ability to align technology solutions to complex, multi-stakeholder business problems and utilize strategic thinking skills to solve customer problems
- Strong ability to demonstrate value proposition & return on investment in complex environments to a wide variety of individuals; technical and/or executive audiences.
- Track record of consistent over-achievement of quotas, revenue goals and the ability to effectively identify and sell to C-level executives
- Proven history of achievement hitting and exceeding targets
- Strong understanding of Cloud, SaaS, Subscription Billing and Digital Commerce
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsl
- Ability to clearly articulate complex solutions into simple and compelling value statements that clearly link to stated business goals.
- Ability to accurately communicate customers visions and requirements to internal stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial spirit, a reputation for integrity and accountability and a strong team ethic
- BS/BA degree required
