AppleCare Service Content provides the foundation for technicians to support our customers worldwide. We create training and reference materials to ensure customers have a world-class service experience whenever and wherever they need it.
These days, content rules, and you’re only as good as the content you are releasing. Developing a meaningful, long-term content roadmap is key to providing useful training and reference content to our global service audience.
AppleCare Service Content is searching for a Content Strategist to develop and implement the strategy that our development teams will follow to create the helpful, impactful content for use by our service technicians globally.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years related work experience developing content strategy plans for a large organization
- In-depth knowledge of Apple products and services
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the use of taxonomy/metadata/tagging for CMS
- Keen understanding of the uses and strengths of a broad range of content types such as self-paced training, technical documentation, video, social media, etc.
- Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills
- Proven record of being able to envision a solution, its possible risks and interdependencies, and develop a plan for making it a reality
Description
The person in this role will work closely with a variety of partners within AppleCare to understand the business and channel needs to develop a comprehensive strategic roadmap for the Service Content organization inclusive of learning and reference content, major system projects, tool enhancements, and more.
As a member of the Strategic Content Design team, this person will think about how to create a training and certification program that develops skilled technicians, how best to create a library of reference content that allows technicians to quickly find helpful direction on troubleshooting and hardware repairs.
The person in this role will have the opportunity to modernize the Service Content portfolio, positively impacting the daily lives of technicians and customers around the world.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,700 and $166,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
