The Capture Tools and Pipeline Developer is responsible for the design and creation of new tools and the maintenance and modification of existing tools relating to a variety of capture systems. In addition, the successful applicant should be familiar with on-set production, and be willing to assist with data capture and post processing tasks. There is a substantial team collaboration to our tools and pipeline developments. We want a developer that is excited to work with other specialists to create automated tools and pipelines to deliver exceptional quality.
Key Qualifications
- Programming experience (ex. Python, PySide and HSL), C and Swift a bonus.
- Experience with tracking databases (ex. Autodesk Shotgrid)
- Experience in post processing performance capture data.
- Experience in motion retargeting is a bonus.
- Experience with 3D photogrammetry processing.
- Experience working with programmable control interfaces (such as Arduino\Raspberry pi).
- Be independent, collaborative, and passionate about pushing the limits of the technology.
- Must have minimum 5 years working with motion capture data, 2 of which focus on tooling and pipeline.
Description
Create new tools and pipelines for capture. Integrate new processes into existing data processing workflows. Extend data visibility using Shotgun\Shotgrid. Extend our data acquisition tools allowing more forms of media to be captured. Assist with data capture sessions, and operate capture equipment. Assist with post-processing tasks and data delivery.
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or relevant industry experience
