The RFO team strives to provide ground breaking innovation and operational excellence for an outstanding customer experience. RFO helps turn Retail Programs into key value propositions for Apple’s direct customers, through Planning, Execution and Strategic Programs. The RFO Program Manager is a highly visible role that will be responsible for strategic Programs across Stores and Online.
The work that is done in this space has a direct impact on the efficiency and competitiveness of online and stores teams worldwide. This role will represent processes, and behaviors in cross-functional programs, as the subject matter expert.
Key Qualifications
- You have a good understanding of Retail programs including Trade In, Ship to Home, APU, IDL
- Deep knowledge of the direct and reverse supply chains
- Must be able to effectively communicate strategic direction and share vision and purpose
- An experienced leader with a “hands-on” and “can do” attitude
- Able to work effectively with other teams and bringing them along for the journey is critical
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (e.g., Keynote, Excel)
- Ability to prioritize and simplify in a constantly evolving environment
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on results
- Ability to see the big picture while also zooming into the micro level technical detail

Description
- Own and develop the Retail Programs roadmap including new program development, project execution and day to day operations.
- Business scope includes understanding and innovating Apple Stores and Online fulfillment and commercial programs.
- Responsible for partnering with different teams across Apple to deliver the best possible delivery experience for customers.
- Define the scope and feature prioritization for all programs following the Retail business strategy concepts and goals.
- Maintain RFO business relationships worldwide (solicit feedback, validate requirements, obtain approvals, achieve global consensus on design).
- Collaborate with BPR & IS&T on designs and scope, and sign off on final design on behalf of RFO.
- Partner with cross functional Ops and Retail teams to delivery programs and solutions
- Develop and lead communications at an executive level while being in the details of all aspects of the programs.
- Assist in the creation and ongoing maintenance of the RFO roadmap (capital & non-capital work).
- Partner with XF teams in planning, scripting, data setup, and execution of UAT.
- Assess current business processes for innovation improvement opportunities.
- Transform broad concepts and business strategies into structured projects, lead design, and implementation.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure systems are ready for new product launches and teams know how to use them to get desired business outcomes.
Education & Experience
Minimum 15 years experience of program and/or project management in retail operations, inventory management, and/or supply chain BS/BA degree required.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,700 and $271,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
