What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cooks position at Applebee's (AIG)?
Applebee’s Cooks are responsible for all aspects of Kitchen production; working well with the Team they oversee and ensuring the variety and quality of each meal proudly served at Applebee’s.
Full Service Restaurant Cooking experience preferred, not required.
ServSafe certification preferred.
Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
Familiar with industry’s best practices.
Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.
