Accounts Payable Clerk

Location : Charlotte, NC

Salary : $19 - $22 per hour

As an AP Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Verify invoice details, such as quantities, prices, and terms
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
• Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
