Master Scheduler/Planner

A growing manufacturing and supply company in Alpharetta, GA is seeking to add a Master Planner/Scheduler to their team! This position interacts with the entire production process, from sales forecasting to material procurement to the distribution of our product. You must be able to establish a reliable production schedule accounting for dates acknowledged to customers, customer forecasts, and available capacity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Create systems, processes, and methods so that CRP and MRP functionality is utilized and improved with the intention of better demand requirements. • Lead the implementation of more effective scheduling techniques which support strategic business growth initiatives. • Produce short- and long-term stocking plans to improve service, increase turns, reduce carrying costs, and minimize risk of obsolescence. • Analyze demand and make recommendations which address production capacity constraints or surpluses. • Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of the demand planning function. • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and present forecast results for evaluation. • Effectively document and maintain standard operating procedures. Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
