APS & Associates Job Listing: Coordinator
APS & Associates seeks an organized and creative problem solver to join our team as a Coordinator. This role is instrumental in supporting the firm and clients in multiple capacities. The ideal candidate is able to juggle competing priorities, act quickly on timely requests, manage ever-changing calendars, and foresee and resolve issues proactively while keeping a level head. The Coordinator will take a more active role with our political and fundraising clients, so an interest and familiarity in those services is necessary. Reporting to the Executive Vice
President, this role will coordinate with other staff and across clients – an exciting opportunity to be involved in all aspects of public affairs work.
Responsibilities:
● Support public affairs and political clients and their strategic goals
● Coordinate scheduling for clients internally and externally, including coordinating with external teams and drafting informational memos
● Manage administrative needs for fundraising clients, including budgets and reports
● Perform current and prospective donor research to aid call-time
● Act as call time manager for political clients and assist with follow-ups
● Support fundraising events with logistics, outreach, and staffing
● Design marketing materials (e.g. informational flyers, graphics)
● Support content creation and management of email marketing accounts
● Manage business and administrative tasks (e.g. database management, acknowledgement letters)
● Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
● 1-3 years experience in public affairs, campaign or communications/marketing work
● Familiarity with NGP VAN, social media and email marketing tools
● Proficiency in Google products, including Gmail and Google Calendars
● Excellent writing and verbal skills
● Demonstrated commitment to the values of equity, inclusion and justice
● Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

The company has a hybrid schedule of working in the Chicago office and working remotely, and this role may include some evening and weekend hours.
