The Commercial Systems New Product Introduction (NPI) Team plans and leads the execution of launch activities and sales enablement materials for new products.

Job Description:

The NPI Event Lead aligns with other client teams to plan and socialize upcoming launch activities, and leads internal teams and external agencies in coordinating, scheduling, and executing internal and external events.

Event Strategy

• Leading Early Planning Strategy to define and align four "Key Moments" for HP Commercial & Display launch activities Working with executive teams to coordinate executive attendance and participation.
• Organizing and leading core team calls to assign responsibilities, lead staffing discussions, track milestones, and keep all people and activities on track.
• Coordinating with content contributors and reviewers.
• Communicating the event schedule and requirements to NPI and product teams.
• Attending event planning calls with other HP Event Teams to understand the NPI role within the event, collect requirements and deadlines, and advocate for NPI needs.
• Scheduling and leading planning calls related to the event.
• Execution & Alignment
• Planning, organizing, and managing product showcases within some events.
• Planning and coordinating logistics for event equipment.
• Creating and managing invitations to all attendees, including managing the distribution list as updates are needed over time.
• Managing executive communications after the event to share event statistics, feedback, and successes.
• Leading post-mortem discussions after events to gather feedback on how the event went and plan for improvements.
• Event On-Site Direction
• Providing support at events (onsite for in-person events and virtually for virtual events) to coordinate activities and staffers.
• Serving as a liaison to venue/event coordinators.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Smartsheets.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to influence virtual and in person teams.
• Experience presenting to senior level management.
