What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at APTIM Corp.?

LABORER

Aptim will be conducting a removal action at the Former NWIRP Bethpage, NY. We are looking for local, skilled Construction Laborers to conduct the following:

Work will include pipeline trenching and installation, backfill and site restoration.

  • General Labor - Spotting, Flagging, Truck Escorting, Hand digging, spotting excavations, sampling helper, utility work, storm water (concrete) pipe installation, silt fence/stormwater control installation
  • Scale House Tender

The duration of this work is expected to be 9-12 months 7-5 M-F. Wages paid in accordance with Federal Prevailing Wage Determination for Bethpage, NY. OSHA Hazwoper (40hr) training is preferred and applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.

APTIM strongly recommends, but does not require, that its employees receive vaccination against COVID-19. We do require employees to provide information about their vaccination status, whether vaccinated or not.
