What You Will be Doing in this Position
In compliance with company policies and procedures, Assoc. IT Support Specialist is responsible for level 1 support of the Aqua Finance computing environment. Ability to provide outstanding customer service while troubleshooting and fixing issues relating to computer desktop, applications, network, and VOIP phone.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive user reports of issues by phone, email, or ticket; log, track, and manage to resolution within ticket system
- Ability to document standard operating procedures
- Document troubleshooting efforts in ticketing system
- Triage user issues to next levels of support as determined necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service while working through employee issues
- Resolve user problems concerning hardware and software issues.
- Install, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware and software products for all departments.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory and documentation of all hardware and software.
QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE-TRAINING
- Must be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally to analyze problems and implement resolutions.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (Win 10)
- Must have the ability to analyze hardware problems, determine and recommend a course of action.
- Must have sufficient experience or training to demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform the job functions as defined above.
What Makes a Successful Associate IT Support Specialist:
- Experience with Group Policy, Microsoft Active Directory, Powershell, Windows Server, Onbase document management or SQL Server is a plus.
- Administration of Internet Information Server (IIS) web servers and/or web Content Management System (CMS)
- 1 year(s) on the job training
- A or other industry standard certification
