General Manager and Swim Instructor

Compensation: Up to $80,000 per year ($65,000 annual salary, $15,000 bonus eligibility)

Day-to-Day (schedule): 9 hours scheduled daily, including a

1-hour break, on four weekdays and Saturdays. A typical schedule includes

working Saturday and one weekday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, two weekdays from

11:30 am to 8:30 pm, and one weekday from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. The needs of the

business can exceed the scheduled hours. When it does, duty calls!

Day-to-Day (tasks): No two days are the same. Most days include a mix of the following:

• Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and assessing staff
• Creating and managing staff schedules; reporting
• Conducting timely performance reviews and check-ins
• Accountability and progressive discipline of employees
• Lead in-service meetings; organize quarterly team outings
• Attend weekly leadership and developmental meetings
• Handle customer and staff concerns
• Ensure a clean, well-operating facility

• Swim Instruction

Must-Have Skills (You need it. We won’t consider you without

it.)

• 3 years of supervisory experience
• 3 years of customer service experience
• Willingness to become a swim instructor (no experience necessary)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Growth is expected. Emotional maturity is required. Integrity is non-negotiable.
