Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a skilled SAP Administrator with extensive experience in ABAP development to join our customer's team in a fully Remote Contract To Hire capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing SAP systems and proficient in creating custom programs within various SAP modules including inventory management, customer relationship management (CRM), financial accounting (FI), and data warehousing (BW).
Responsibilities:
Manage and administer SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Develop and implement custom programs using ABAP within SAP modules such as Inventory Management (IM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Financial Accounting (FI), and Data Warehousing (BW).
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain SAP applications, reports, interfaces, and enhancements using ABAP programming.
Perform system configuration, installations, upgrades, and enhancements as needed.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions.
Conduct regular system audits and implement best practices for system optimization and performance improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and end-users to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users on new applications and functionalities.
Stay updated with SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an SAP Administrator with expertise in ABAP programming.
In-depth knowledge of SAP modules including Inventory Management (IM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Financial Accounting (FI), and Data Warehousing (BW).
Extensive experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP) preferred.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions is a plus.
