Job Title: Digital Brand Strategist (CPG)
Client Location: New York, NY HYBRID
Salary/Pay Rate: $55.00-$60.00/hour
Duration: 3-6 months temp (will extend)
Job Description:
Our client's Studio blends diverse creative and cultural perspective with the brand's know-how, to help brands push boundaries and tell stories that move culture. Our creative focus is social and content innovation for North America beverage brands.
As part of the Strategy team you will play a key role in transforming our business and fueling creative excellence by ensuring content is inspired by culture, rooted in insight and optimized through data. You will have the opportunity to push portfolio of brands to new heights with innovative and impactful programs that connect with our consumers through digital channels and content. You’ll play a leading role in continuing to build and embed The Studio’s Content Strategy, Cultural Strategy, Influencer Strategy and Creative Excellence capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Content Strategy and Executional Oversight:
- Create and help implement digital content strategies for brands that retain The Studio’s services.
- Serve as editorial steward and ensure all client brand content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience - across all content creators from agency, media, food service, and additional partners.
- Responsible for sell-in of digital & content strategy recommendations to senior level marketing leaders throughout the organization.
- Manage the CM team responsible for the overall execution of the client brand content and editorial publication strategy across brand, partner, and influencer touch points.
- Translate platform strategies, consumer data, and brand-led insights into data informed creative briefs that lead to innovative consumer driven creative and digital experiences.
Platform and Partner Strategy and Management
- Partner with key stakeholders on client brands to develop holistic communications strategy across paid, owned, and earned touch points.
- Responsible for digital growth strategy in partnership with internal, media, agency, and digital platform partners.
- Oversee the development and execution of influencer plans across digital touch points, including finding vendor partners, influencer selection and management, and creative development.
- Identify and engage with emerging platforms and new digital partners to evaluate opportunities for digital innovation and consumer engagement.
Capability Development and Innovation
- Subject Matter Expert on all social platforms - including emerging platforms and technologies.
- Develop global marketing org. capabilities and digital literacy across client brand teams and the overall organization.
- Continue to develop and streamline processes for digital brand communication across cross-functional partners (Legal, Consumer Relations, Communications, Brand, etc.) – in partnership with Corporate Governance.
- Champion and embed culture-first thinking within the organization
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in PR or Marketing such as brand strategy, digital strategy, or content development. Previous roles within Digital marketing or agency experience highly preferred.
- CPG or food/beverage industry experience a plus, as well as strong passion for storytelling and creative.
- Ability to build strong relationships with agencies, partners, and internal teams and influence at the highest levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55.00 to $60.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
