THE OPPORTUNITY
LEASING AGENTS | LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Aragon is seeking a team of leasing agents to show, and lease, our first Los Angeles community, a new 70-unit apartment building on Glendale Blvd. in Echo Park. This will be a full-time position, including regularly-scheduled weekend hours.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide building and unit tours to potential renters.
- Represent the project to the Glendale community; answer telephone and internet inquires and make follow-up calls and e-mail responses as necessary.
- Inspect property/units daily to ensure apartments are ready for showing.
- Develop marketing plans for Aragon to sustain occupancy as well as staying informed about the current market.
- Set up and maintain property and resident information databases.
- Manage rental advertisements on various platforms.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports for the corporate head office as required.
- Qualify potential tenants by processing pre-leasing applications including verification of income, employment, and rental history.
- Process leasing applications and complete tenant screening, which includes reference checks, credit checks, and background checks.
- Collecting deposits once a tenant has been approved.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections for residents.
What you’ll bring along:
- Ideal candidate will have previous multifamily leasing experience or multifamily sales experience.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented, possess strong marketing and sales skills, effective communication skills, and experience with telephone sales presentation.
- Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Computer skills required.
- Experience working with Yardi / Rent Café preferred but not required.
